From June 23 \u2013 August 30, 2023 I took a Summer Vacation. I joked to friends and colleagues that I haven’t had a proper break since college and it was time to change that.<\/p>

This summer:<\/p>

  • I traveled to Texas for the first time and Washington for the 100th time<\/li>
  • Went to 4 concerts<\/li>
  • Spent my first birthday away from my family and friends and had my first hotel birthday cake<\/li>
  • Ran 62.84 miles<\/li>
  • Walked 42.45 miles<\/li>
  • Did 2960 push ups, 3700 sit ups, 2220 squats, 1850 curls, and did leg lifts for a total of 18 minutes and 30 seconds<\/li>
  • I re-learned \u3072\u3089\u304c\u306a and \u30ab\u30bf\u30ab\u30ca<\/li>
  • Read 4 books<\/li>
  • Completed 1 Excel Course<\/li><\/ul>

    I didn’t track the number of hours of movies, tv shows, anime, and random YouTube videos I watched, but that would be an impressive number.<\/p>

    Summer break as an adult wasn’t too different from what I remember when I was growing up. As the unofficial end of summer arrives, I’m starting to feel like I did when I had to go back to school and didn’t want summer break to end. A wise person once said, “All summer breaks must come to an end.”<\/p>

    So here we are. It’s September 1st and it feels like change is around the corner. There’s a sense of expectation for this mysterious something new arriving.
